Yesli Vega is a military wife, mother, former police officer and a Prince William County Sheriff’s Deputy who has dedicated her life to public service.

Yesli will apply common-sense conservative solutions to the issues most important to families in the Coles District and Prince William County at-large. Whether it be creating a pro-business climate, reducing property taxes, government spending regulations, smart growth, preserving our rural communities, transportation, education, immigration, and of course adequate funding and respect for the men and women in blue.

With Yesli’s life experiences, commitment to serving her community, and common sense, conservative approach to governing, she humbly asks for your vote to be the next Supervisor of the Coles District.

Coles Issues

Public Safety

As a former police officer and Prince William County Sheriff's Deputy, Yesli is deeply committed to the security of the citizens of Prince William County. She will make sure that our law enforcement is adequately funded to keep our communities safe.

Public Safety

Taxes

Prince William County property tax rates have increased by over 50% since 2006, making us the county with the highest real estate tax rate in the region. This is unacceptable. Yesli will fight to broaden our tax base through pro business economic policies, which will attract more businesses, lessening the tax burden on our homeowners.

Taxes

Transportation

Coles District residents spend an average of six hours per week driving back and forth to work. This is a quality of life issue and a direct result of the growth at all costs strategy we've seen over the last decade. Growth is inevitable, but we must have smart growth that allows for our infrastructure to catch up to the population explosion we've seen.

Transportation

Protect The Rural Crescent

One reason why Yesli and her husband chose to move to the Coles District was because of its rural character. We must respect the rights of our neighbors in the Rural Crescent and preserve our natural resources.

Protect The Rural Crescent

Smart Growth

Yesli will take each issue of growth and development on a case by case basis. While she prides herself on being a free-market conservative, we must respect the property rights and wishes of our neighbors of today. Longer commute times and overcrowded schools are two consequences of the current growth at all costs strategy. This must be replaced with a more balanced approach.

Smart Growth

Education

As a mother of two children in Prince William County Schools, Yesli sees firsthand the negative impact overcrowding has had on our schools and our children's ability to learn. We have one of the worst teacher:student ratio in the region and children across the county are being taught out of trailers. Again, our infrastructure must be given time to catch up with population growth. Our children deserve better
